Electro Dance - Electro Dance Spring Workshops Discover the electrifying world of Electro Dance, a high-energy street dance style that blends a medley of influences like industrial dance, hip-hop, popping, locking, disco, voguing, and whacking. Originating in the early 2000's in the southern suburbs of Paris, Electro Dance took shape in nightclubs and quickly became a global phenomenon, more known as "Teckntonik" or "Milky Way" in the early days. It has produced a variety of viral videos, securing its place in pop culture and inspiring a devoted community worldwide. Join our workshops to explore this exhilarating dance form, connect with its vibrant history, and learn to express yourself through its signature moves!Open to individuals 14 years and older, no prior experience necessary.Workshops provided by Arm Talx'Sessions will include a step by step tutorial on the fundamentals of Electro Dance followed by an Electro Cypher in which all students will gather in a circle, music will be played and one by one will freestyle, expressing their creativity in a non-judgemental zone.

Characterized by its frenetic arm movements, freehand flow, and geometric precision, this style also incorporates shuffling footwork and hip-hop-inspired toprock for a unique, dynamic expression. Paired with pulsating electro house and hardstyle beats, the dance captivates audiences with its original yet rhythmic vibe. The evolution of Electro Dance has taken different forms throughout the years.
