No ref fees for these age groups or any other related additional fees will be added. *The program does not take team registrations. Ages: This program is designed for kids who will be ages 3-6 during the season. Participants must be 3 years old by the start of the season and cannot turn the age of the next division prior to by the fourth game of the season. Equipment: Players are all required to wear shin guards and soccer cleats (shoes) in order to participate in games and practices. Parents provide required equipment items.  Game Schedule: Teams will play 7-10 games during season, depending on weather and amount of teams assembled. Schedule will be sent out via coaches and emailed to families before the start of the season, after teams have been determined. Any make up days due to weather will be pushed one week. Any changes in the schedule will be communicated to the coaches, then to parents via email and text.Teams and Draft process: This is a non-competitive recreation-play team sport program; therefore, teams are drafted to build balance between teams; based on inconsequential facts of a registered child such as age, gender, and jersey size. As recommended by US Soccer Foundation, teams will be made of up to 6 players per team for 4 v 4 games, with no goal keepers. The goal for this program is to encourage kids to have fun learning a new sport, make new friends, and to love playing outside.Coaches and staff will guide and ref games based on the US Soccer recommendations for these divisions. Individual player and team score sheets will be recorded, but will not hold any effect towards a team's ability to participate throughout the season. A participation trophy is given to all registered players.All teams are picked by coaches at the time of the draft. The program does not guarantee any specific placement or accommodations, other than for siblings. All players that register after the draft are placed into a team based on the guidance of our draft policy. No ref fees for these age groups or any other related additional fees will be added. *The program does not take team registrations. Ages: This program is designed for kids who will be ages 3-6 during the season. Participants must be 3 years old by the start of the season and cannot turn the age of the next division prior to by the fourth game of the season. Equipment: Players are all required to wear shin guards and soccer cleats (shoes) in order to participate in games and practices. Parents provide required equipment items.  Game Schedule: Teams will play 7-10 games during season, depending on weather and amount of teams assembled. Schedule will be sent out via coaches and emailed to families before the start of the season, after teams have been determined. Any make up days due to weather will be pushed one week. Any changes in the schedule will be communicated to the coaches, then to parents via email and text.Teams and Draft process: This is a non-competitive recreation-play team sport program; therefore, teams are drafted to build balance between teams; based on inconsequential facts of a registered child such as age, gender, and jersey size. As recommended by US Soccer Foundation, teams will be made of up to 6 players per team for 4 v 4 games, with no goal keepers. The goal for this program is to encourage kids to have fun learning a new sport, make new friends, and to love playing outside.Coaches and staff will guide and ref games based on the US Soccer recommendations for these divisions. Individual player and team score sheets will be recorded, but will not hold any effect towards a team's ability to participate throughout the season. City of San Fernando's Tiny Tyke Soccer League is finally here!This 7-10 week program is a great opportunity for kids ages 3-6 to build skills, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful game.All program activities will be held at:Layne Park120 North Huntington StreetSan Fernando 91340 Practices: Once a week in the afternoon (TBD by coaches)Games: Saturday mornings (Times TBD)Fees: $60 San Fernando Residents / $70 Non-City Residents per individual registration.* Registration fee includes a uniform kit (Jersey, shorts and socks) and trophies. No ref fees for these age groups or any other related additional fees will be added. *The program does not take team registrations. Ages: This program is designed for kids who will be ages 3-6 during the season. Participants must be 3 years old by the start of the season and cannot turn the age of the next division prior to by the fourth game of the season. Equipment: Players are all required to wear shin guards and soccer cleats (shoes) in order to participate in games and practices. Parents provide required equipment items.  Game Schedule: Teams will play 7-10 games during season, depending on weather and amount of teams assembled. Schedule will be sent out via coaches and emailed to families before the start of the season, after teams have been determined. Any make up days due to weather will be pushed one week. Any changes in the schedule will be communicated to the coaches, then to parents via email and text.Teams and Draft process: This is a non-competitive recreation-play team sport program; therefore, teams are drafted to build balance between teams; based on inconsequential facts of a registered child such as age, gender, and jersey size. As recommended by US Soccer Foundation, teams will be made of up to 6 players per team for 4 v 4 games, with no goal keepers. The goal for this program is to encourage kids to have fun learning a new sport, make new friends, and to love playing outside.Coaches and staff will guide and ref games based on the US Soccer recommendations for these divisions. Individual player and team score sheets will be recorded, but will not hold any effect towards a team's ability to participate throughout the season. A participation trophy is given to all registered players.All teams are picked by coaches at the time of the draft. The program does not guarantee any specific placement or accommodations, other than for siblings. All players that register after the draft are placed into a team based on the guidance of our draft policy. Requirements include: (1) a complete MyRec profile, (2) a cleared background check, and (3) National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) active membership and certification training in (i) Coaching Youth Sports, (ii) Basic Youth Sports Safety and First Aid, Coaching (iii) Youth Soccer 10 & Under trainings.
