Watermelon Eating Contest - 2025 Independence Day Festival • Register • View Cart •

Contest Rules:
  • The objective is to eat a quarter slice of watermelon quicker than the other contestants.
  • There is a 2 minute time limit. If no one is finished, the most watermelon consumed will determine the winner.
  • If any part of the watermelon is not swallowed or is regurgitated will be reason for disqualification of that contestant. The watermelon must be eaten down to the rind.
  • Hands are not to be used during the contest to consume the watermelon. Only the face and mouth can be used to eat. Participants must keep their hands behind their back at all times during the contest. Use of hands to put watermelon into the mouth is grounds for disqualification.
  • In the event of a tie, a watermelon eat off will determine the winner.
  • Ribbon or trophy will be given in each age category to the winners.
